3W

3W were very lucky to work with three student teachers on an ‘Excellence and Enjoyment week.’ The work was excellent and we certainly enjoyed it!

Miss Brien, Miss Wilkinson and Miss Golenya planned a week of activities based around the theme of recycling. We learnt how important it is to ‘Reduce, Re-use and Recycle.’ We had a wonderful time  reusing and recycling lots of waste materials to make jewellery, masks and musical instruments. We also rescued some old clothes and make our own designer creations. We created some AMAZING outfits for no cost and then we modelled them on a catwalk. We think we looked spectacular! Next time you have a special occasion coming up, why not ask 3W to create you something?!

Bonjour! 3W have been learning lots of French with Mrs. Kiely. We will be showing off our language skills in our class assembly on Tuesday 25th May at 9.15. We would like to invite our families to come along to join us. Merci!

We built a wall round Chester!

We all had to join the Roman army for 20 years!

We frightened the shoppers marching through the city with our shields shouting,'Sin,Sin, Sin, Dex, Sin!'

We have all been working really hard this year and learning lots! One of our favourite learning experiences was our visit to the Dewa Roman Experience in Chester. It was part of our learning question ‘What can we learn from the Ancient World?’  We certainly did learn lots!

The day was made up of two parts. Our first activity was to join the Roman army for 20 years! We were then given shields and marched through the city streets shouting ‘Sin, Sin, Sin, Dex, Sin!’ at the tops of our voices. ( Left, right to you and me…) The shoppers all looked rather worried!

We climbed up on to the city walls and also visited a real ampitheatre. We also went inside the museum and travelled by boat to England and walked through market streets complete with genuine smells!Have a look at our pictures and you will be able to see how much we enjoyed our visit.
